Iron Maiden vs Rush Super Launch Tournament
Saturday, July 29th
Entry fee to the tournament is $5.
Doors open at 11, Matchplay will begin at 1!
Format for this Super Launch Tournament will be a tiered swiss, 5 round Group Matchplay, 2 games per round, using IFPA scoring. Each qualifying round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing 2 games, using IFPA (7,5,3,1) scoring.
After 5 rounds, the top 8 players will move on to a Group Matchplay Final. All other qualifiers will battle for the B division champion in a 2 strike tournament!
The Group Matchplay Final will consist of the top 8 qualifiers playing 3 games per round (7,5,3,1 scoring). The top seed will get the opportunity to choose a bank of games, and position for the first game. Positions for remaining games will be given a choice determined on finishing order. (4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st) you will not be allowed to choose the same games in the bank multiple times.
This is a Stern Army event, but will be considered an Unofficial Launch Party. There will be prizes, giveaways, plaques and trophies given away throughout the event!
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
This is an IFPA Sanctioned event.
