Location: Delaware Pinball Collective, 1100 First State Blvd. Wilmington, DE 19804
Date: 7/28/2023 - Doors open at 6:00pm for practice and practice will end at 6:45pm so we can go over announcements. Tournament starts at 7pm.
Registration: Email billr317@gmail.com to register. Please include IFPA# when emailing to register. Walk-ins are accepted until 6:30pm. No fees are due when signing up, registration fees due night of tournament.
Cost: DPC Members $5 ($1 to IFPA, $4 to prize pool). Non-members $25 ($1 IFPA, $4 to prize pool, $20 to DPC for expenses).
Prizes: Top 4 will win cash
Format and Rules:
Matchplay format. This will be a 7 rounds of Classics Matchplay format with top 8 advancing to standard matchplay Finals. You will be playing groups of 4/3/2 (player) matches. The first round will be randomly generated and subsequent rounds will be based upon swiss-pairing. Once all players finish a round, standings will be calculated and the next round of games will be established based upon your current ranking so top 4 players will be playing against other top 4 players and so on. Scoring will be 7/5/3/1. for 4 player groups, 7/4/1 for 3 player groups, and 7/1 for 2 player groups.
In the event of a tie for position 8, all tied players will play a one game tie breaker on Future Spa.
FINALS FORMAT: After 7 rounds of qualifying the top 8 players will be determined based on the above scoring. Finals will be scored 4/2/1/0
