Tournament Overview


Tournament Date: July 25, 2023

5 Flip-Frenzy tournaments to determine who competes in a 4-person trivia-style game show on 22-Aug for a chance to play one pinball game against Eric Stone and win $500 of Ted's money .. or lose to Eric Stone and win $100 of Ted's money.

Week 1: Tuesday 18-July 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90-minute flip-frenzy). Registration opens @ 6:00pm.
Week 2: Tuesday 25-July 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90-minute flip-frenzy). Registration opens @ 6:00pm.
Week 3: Tuesday 1-Aug 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90-minute flip-frenzy). Registration opens @ 6:00pm.
Week 4: Tuesday 8-Aug 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90-minute flip-frenzy). Registration opens @ 6:00pm.
Week 5: Tuesday 15-Aug 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90-minute flip frenzy). Registration opens @ 6:00pm.

Tuesday 22-Aug GAMESHOW!!! Rule review @ 7:00pm followed by ~30-minute game show, followed by one pinball game against Eric Stone.

Entry Fee: $5 to enter (each week)
Gameplay: 0.50 a game
Start Time: 7:00pm (no registrations accepted after 15 minutes of play)
Format: Flip Frenzy!
Duration: 90 Minutes
Open to all ages
50 player limit each week (first come / first served)

Each Week: Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for most points. 4th for top minor (15 or under) not in top 3.
Pot includes 100% of all Entry Fees collected + $25 of Ted's Money
1st Place = 50% of pot
2nd Place = 30% of pot
3rd Place = 20% of pot
4th place = same $ as 3rd place (Ted's money)

Must play minimum 2 out of 5 weeks to qualify for entry into Game Show held Tuesday 22-August.

GAME SHOW high-level rules:
Total of 4 players competing in a trivia-style format. Player with most points plays Eric Stone in one pinball game to win $500 if you beat Eric Stone .. or .. $100 if you lose to Eric Stone.

4 Players chosen via:
Top 3 players with most cumulative points over 5-week period // Must play minimum 2 out of 5 weeks // Must be available to play in-person on 22-Aug
4th player randomly chosen at end of Week 5 (on 15-Aug) of those who played a minimum 2 out of 5 weeks
