Superflip Pinball League

The Superflip Pinball League aims to create an inclusive and fun pinball environment that:
- Promotes interest in casual + competitive pinball
- Enhances skills + rules knowledge for participants
- Maximizes TGP potential (WPPRs - world pinball player ranking points) - the league is setup to support a 200% value

Summer 2023 Season Schedule
Week 1: Monday 7/10
Week 2: Monday 7/17
Week 3: Monday 7/24
Week 4: Monday 7/31
Week 5: Monday 8/7
Week 6: Monday 8/14
Week 7 (FINALS session 1): Monday 8/21
Week 8 (FINALS session 2): Monday 8/28 *if necessary

Qualifying:
- Check-in starts at 7pm, groups announced and start at 7:30pm sharp!
- Four games each week consisting of 2 games in 2 separate rounds
- Random pairings first round
- Tiered pairings second round, based on the cumulative league standings not counting the current week
- 7/5/3/1 scoring for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th (7/4/1 scoring for three player groups)
- Extra balls must be plunged and not played

Finals:
- Check-in starts at 6pm, groups announced and start at 6:30pm sharp! (one hour earlier than qualifying weeks)
- Format: PAPA style match play (3 games each round, 4/2/1/0 scoring)
- All players participate in finals, prizes awarded for all divisions (prize breakdown TBD)
- Groupings are based on multiples of 16 (this assumes at least 32 players; this will be modified to reduce the field for A division by 50% if less than 32)
- Anyone qualifying outside of the multiple of 16 will be placed in the X division (e.g., with 38 players, top 16 players make A division, the next 16 players make B division, the last 6 make X division. With 52 players, top 16 A, next 16 B, next 16 C, last 4 X and so forth.)

200% WPPRs
- 8 meaningful games each qualifying week x 4 weeks that count = 32 meaningful games
- 18 meaningful games for finals
- 50 meaningful games total x 4% = 200% TGP
