Tournament Date: July 16, 2023
The Godfather of competitive pinball in Eugene is turning 50! Hayden "The Professor" Harker is celebrating the big 5-0 in style by day drinking on a beautiful summer Sunday at Blairally Vintage Arcade with loads of friends and family, and you're invited. This all-ages pinball tournament kicks off at 2 pm and figures to draw players from all over the Pacific Northwest as they come out to celebrate HMH.
Entry: $10
Registration: 1:30pm
Tournament begins: 2:00pm
2-5:00pm: Group match play qualifying, minimum of six rounds
5:30 pm: Four-strike group knockout finals for top 50% of players. Bottom two in each group receive a strike (for 3 & 4-player groups) Of the finals qualifiers, each player will START the finals with 0-3 strikes depending on their performance during qualifying:
Top 25%: 0 strikes
26-50%: 1 strike
51-75%: 2 strikes
76-100%: 3 strikes
For example, if there are 50 players in the tournament, then the top 25 will play in the finals. If their points from qualifying range from 24 points to 40 points, then strikes would be assigned as follows:
37-40 get zero strikes
33-36 get one strike
29–32 get two strikes
24-28 get three strikes
