PinPride is back for 2023 with even more pinball! This matchplay tournament for LGBTQIA+ pinball players and allies will now feature SEVEN ROUNDS of qualifying. We're excited to return to Barcade Williamsburg after raising more than $4,000 at Valentine's Gay!
Preregistration for up to 40 players will open at noon Eastern on Saturday, June 3, at https://next.matchplay.events/tournaments/102389/rsvp with $10 entry fee to Jess (venmo @zeta6742 or paypal jessicaleewarren at hotmail).
Check in starting at 12 p.m., tournament starts at 1 p.m. Seven rounds of match play in 3- or 4-player groups, followed by PAPA-style finals for top 8. Scoring is 7/5/3/1 with balanced pairings. Plunge extra balls. Semifinals and finals will be three games where top seed has choice of game or player order; top 2 from each semifinal group advance to finals. IFPA sanctioned.
Approximate payouts:
• 1st place: $50 + trophy
• 2nd place: $40 + trophy
• 3rd place: $30 + medal
• 4th place: $20 + medal
• 5th-8th place: $10
• $150 donated to Ali Forney Center (https://www.aliforneycenter.org/, additional donations welcome with your registration or at the event via cash, venmo, or paypal)
