THE ABILENE SHOWDOWN (DFW Pinball League 2023 Spring/Summer League Event 3)

Keith and Garrett Shahan are hosting an awesome event in Abilene, Texas.

This TWO DAY EVENT will have THREE (3) IFPA tournaments worth a TOTAL that expected to be between 350 and 400 PERCENT TOTAL TGP. The Saturday portion of this event will also host league events for both, the DFW Pinball League AND the DFW Women's Pinball League.
Included in the festivities is a KIDZ final as well...

This will be a THREE (3) STRIKES TOURNAMENT starting sometime around 6:00 PM

THE ABILENE SHOWDOWN! ENTIRE EVENT ---
DATES: Weekend of May 20 and 21
Saturday starts at 1:00 PM - this tournament should start around 6 PM.
Sunday starts at 10:00 AM - this tournament WILL NOT be a part of the Sunday schedule.
The cost is $10 per person to play -- same TOTAL $10 price covers ANY or ALL of the events.

Doors open at NOON Saturday and 9:30 AM Sunday for warmup time.

SINCE ITS A TWO DAY EVENT - PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ TGHE FOOD/DRINK AND LODGING SECTIONS LATER IN THIS POST!

This will be the 3rd event of the DFW Pinball League's 2023 Spring/Summer season.
Event Schedule:
MAIN TOURNAMENT - MATCH PLAY (groups playing together) qualifying starts Saturday at 1 PM and finals start at 10:00 AM Sunday.
SIDE TOURNAMENT 1 - 3 STRIKES (estimated start time is Saturday 6 PM).
SIDE TOURNAMENT 2 - FAIR STRIKES FORMAT (estimated start time is Sunday 2:30 PM).
KIDZ FINAL - ONE GAME - SATURDAY at 5:30 PM.
LEAGUES - BEST GAME FORMAT - Unlimited Qualifying - qualifying starts Saturday at 1 PM and will be available for 8 or more hours.

Everyone is welcome, NO RSVP needed because there is NO cap on the number of participants!

MULTIPLE EVENTS GOING ON.
Play in as much or as little as you like.
Its a PARTY first, with a little pinball mixed in!
We provide a variety of choices, so everyone can do what they are comfortable with...

I am planning on buying a large hand sanitizer from Sam’s club.
I will have the machines clean before tournament and can wipe them down between tournaments if necessary

OTHER NOTES FROM OUR HOST:
The tournament is going to be outside city limits. There is a restroom in the building. There is a large area north of the building to park and also to the south.
