Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 06, 2023
Venue Details - Shangri-La opens at 8:00am so feel free to come as early as you want to practice. We will get started at Noon. Please bring any food or drinks that you want.
Cost - 5 bucks per player. $1 dollar goes to IFPA, the rest to the prize pool.
Qualifying Details - We will play 7 rounds of group match play (random groups each round). IFPA Scoring (7,5,3,1) If Foo Fighters is not drawn automatically in each round, we will randomly pick a game that it will replace with a random number generator.
Finals - The top 6 will make the cut, with the top 2 getting a bye. 3-6 will play one game on Foo Fighters to determine who will join the top 2 in the Main Finals. Now, the official top 4 will play 3 games on Foo Fighters with IFPA scoring (7,5,3,1). The one with the most points at the end will be crowned our official Stern Foo Fighter Launch Party Champion. Any tie-breakers will be played on...you guessed if FOO FIGHTERS! If Foo has issues, we will play on other Stern titles in the finals. If we have less than 12, we will only be bringing the top 4 into finals.
The winner will receive the prestigious Grand Champ plaque from Stern and a Foo Fighters translite. Other prizes will available and randomly drawn during qualifying. Top 4 will get paid out. 1st - 40%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%, 4th 10%.
