Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: April 01, 2023
Timed Group Match starting at 3pm that finishes at 8pm, 1 April 2023.
Tournament will be Group Matchplay
Qualifying – timed numbers of rounds of 2 matches (staring 3pm finishing at 8pm) no more rounds to be started after 8.
Round pairing: Swiss pairing will see players seeded against players on similar points.
Scoring system: IFPA (7/5/3/1) for 4 player groups (7/4/1) for 3 player groups.
Tiebreaker: Ties will only be broken for entry into the semi final and final.
The finals will consist of the top 8
Semi Final - players will be seeded into two groups with the top two players from each group going through to the final. Each group will play 2 elimination finals with placings awarded 7/5/3/1 with the top 2 players from each group going through to the final. (Semis may be run in chaos (concurrent) format.
Final – Similar to semi finals, the final four players will play in one group (4 different games) to decide final placings awarded 7/5/3/1 for each game. The final may be run as concurrent games.
