A 24 Hour long Matchplay Pinball Tournament
Start: 10:00 am on Saturday – April 1st, 2023
End: 10:00am on Sunday – April 2nd, 2023
Registration: Registration opens on February 12th at 10:00am CST. To register, please email Tyler at pinballderby@gmail.com with your name and IFPA number(if applicable).
Entry Fee: $60 (half of which must be pre-paid by March 12th, the remaining half can be paid at the door on April 1st. Please reach Tyler when registering for pre-payment options. Players run the risk of their spot being forfeited if pre-payment is not completed by March 12th. No refunds will be given on the pre-payment after March 12th.)
Maximum Entries Allowed will be 48 players, All Skill Levels Welcome!
-Format-
Group matchplay pinball, for 24 hours straight! In what will be the ultimate test of endurance, players will play in matchplay rounds continuously for the entire duration. There will be scheduled short breaks and two short breaks for meals. Players will receive points based on their finish in each matchplay game. With approximately 4 hours to go, all players will then play in a matchplay papa style Finals (split between A and B division) to determine the final standings. All players will play out to a finish in order to keep playing until the end of the 24 hours.
Every player who completes the 24 Hour Challenge (as in play from 10am to 10am) will receive a custom medal to commemorate the accomplishment. An additional prize will also be given out to anyone who completes. The winner of the tournament will also receive the first place iron-man trophy.
IFPA Sanctioned
All games on free play!
Doors will open at 9am on April 1st. At least 2 meals will be provided with entry, however players are highly encouraged to bring their own food and drinks and prepare for the long haul.
