Tournament Overview


Tournament Date: March 25, 2023

Qualifying: March 14, 16, 18
Finals: Saturday: March 25
Starting at 11:30 am (top 16 (flexible based on final # of participants)

Cost: $50
(Breakdown: $30 to The Pinball Place, $20 to prize pool)

We welcome players to take part in The Pinball Place’s March Madness Tournament. This will be a two -week tournament event that will be run alongside the NCAA March Madness.

Rules: In week 1, players will come to The Pinball Place, pay their registration fee, and receive a score card consisting of 8 games for them to play, after each game they will confirm their score with the staff at the front desk and move on to the next game. 6 of the 8 games will be counted as your score card and determine your seeding for the March Madness tournament, as well as if you qualify for the cutoff for the A finals or the B finals.

Half of the players that take part in the qualifying will make it into the Group A Bracket Tournament, while all the other players will be eligible to take part in the B Bracket final.

The Announcements of the standings and the seeding will be made public after the conclusion of all the of qualifying play. Players will be notified the weekend of March 18th to which bracket they are eligible to play in on Saturday, March 25th. (Top seeds will have game choice to start, winner of each game will have position choice and loser will have game choice. )

Finals: On March 25th, the A Bracket finals will be a best of 3 Head to Head match up. With the winner moving on and the loser being eliminated. Top 4 players will we awarded cash prizes for this tournament (40%,20%,15%,10%).

B Bracket Finals will be a will be a best of 3 Head to Head match up. With the winner moving on and the loser being eliminated. Top 2 players will we awarded cash prizes for this tournament (10%, 5%).
