Richie Terry and Ashley Weaver are co-hosting this IFPA-endorsed classics matchplay extravaganza! Join us for a day of classic pinball and BBQ on Sunday, March 12th, 2023!
Player cap is 40. We will open pre-registration on Saturday February 25th at noon. See South Sound Pinball's Facebook page for pre-reg details, or email Ashley at SouthSoundPinball@gmail.com . If pre-registration overflows the 40 player maximum within 24 hours we will do a lottery for spots. If pre-registration has not reached the 40 player max after being open for 24 hours, registration will be first come first serve. Tournament entry is $15 cash due the day of the event - $10 of that goes into the prize pot and $5 goes to food coverage. Any money leftover from food coverage will be donated to Seattle Area Feline Rescue (SAFeR).
Doors open at 11:00 am for practice. Registration closes at 11:45am. Four hours of classics matchplay qualifying will begin at noon; a meal will be served upon completion of the qualifying rounds around 4:00 pm. Up to the top 16 (depending on turn out) will move on to a matchplay elimination style finals (three games per round) which will begin about 30 minutes after qualifying completion. Seeding will be slaughter, top seed in each group will have choice of game or position with no repeat game picks allowed throughout the entirety of finals. Those who do not make finals are welcome to stay, but must relinquish games to finals groups.
Charity events: more details to come! We will be selling pay-per-play games on Dodge City using a target score type format to raise money for Seattle Area Feline Rescue - an homage to last Spring’s Kitten Cup. There will also be a 50/50 cash raffle for SAFeR upon completion of qualifying. Email SouthSoundPinball@gmail.com to inquire about joining the raffle remotely.
Game info: Richie has a spectacular collection of classic pinball machines, and we will be bringing a few extras in from friends. All games will be set to free play. This is a tentative list and subject to change:

Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks beyond that. If there is a dietary reason that this meal doesn't work for you, please indicate that in your pre-reg email.
TGP info: We estimate that we will play a minimum of eight rounds during the four hour qualifying. If that goal is met and we have enough players (32+) to send 16 to the finals, this tournament will earn approximately 136% TGP.
