Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 18, 2023
Now that state championships are settled, it's time to take on the next battlefield... Target Match Play!
Now that IFPA has slain the beloved Flip Frenzy format, let's try something new -- Players will compete in 4 player groups of Matchplay pinball with 3-2-1-0 scoring. After round 1, all groups will be fully swissed -- meaning you'll be competing against players who are of similar scores as yourself. Rounds will alternate between banks of games that "Run Long" (new Stern games) and "Run Short" (classics) until someone ends a round at 30 points or more -- they're our winner! Prizes for the top 5 finishers (tiebreaks after the last round if needed). Capped at 24 people. Snacks and beverages provided, WPPRs for all.
Doors at noon, tourney starts promptly at 1. No set breaks but there should be time between rounds for snacks, smoke breaks, or ordering/eating/bringing food if you so desire.
