The Arcade's End of the Year Plunge
Saturday, December 31st
Entry fee to tournament is $5, IFPA Fees will be paid by The Arcade.
Doors open at 1, Matchplay will begin at 2!
Format for this month's Plunge will be a tiered swiss, 8 round Group Matchplay, using IFPA scoring. Each qualifying round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing 1 game, using IFPA (7,5,3,1) scoring. After 8 rounds, the top 8 players will move on to a Ladder Matchplay Final.
The Ladder Finals will be groups of 4, beginning with the 5,6,7,8 seeds, playing 1 game. Whoever takes last in the game is eliminated. The other players move on and we will add the 4th seed. Ect… We will play out all games down to 1 player remaining.
During the finals, the top seed in the group will have a choice of game OR their player order for that game, an individual player may not choose the same game more than once.
Last person standing will be declared the final champion of the year and receive the Silver Ball trophy!
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
