Pre-register on July 1st

Starts at 2 pm, check in at 1:30 pm, limited to 100 entries. After 4 of the 8 qualifying rounds, there will be a 30-min break. There will be another 30-min break after qualifying is over. Log into http://Matchplay.events/ to see your groupings, enter results for you group, and follow along with the event.

Qualifying will be 8 rounds of single game matchplay (3 and 4 player groups). First round groupings are Random. After that, you will be grouped with players that have a similar number of points. Player order will be balanced.

Scoring will be IFPA which awards 7,5,3,1 points for 4 player groups, and 7,4,1 scoring for 3 player groups.

The top 16 players after the 8 qualifying rounds will make A finals. The next 16 players will make B finals. There will be no IFPA ranking restrictions on making the finals.

A division Finals - this will be matchplay with no byes. 16 will play in the quarter finals. Each group will play 3 games using the same IFPA scoring as qualifying. The top two players from each group will advance to the next round. Then the final 8 will play in the semifinals with the same rules with the top two from each group advancing to the final 4. The final four will play 3 more games to decide the winner. Player choosing bank cannot pick the same bank 2 rounds in a row.

The three games played each round of finals are chosen by picking a bank from the list which will have one game from various eras. The top seed of the group will choose the bank of games. The player positions are predetermined and are as follows:

Game 1: P1 - Seed 4, P2 - Seed 3, P3 - Seed 2, P4 - Seed 1
Game 2: P1 - Seed 4, P2 - Seed 3, P3 - Seed 1, P4 - Seed 2
Game 3: P1 - Seed 4, P2 - Seed 2, P3 - Seed 1, P4 - Seed 3

B division finals - Same format as A division. B Division will play along with A Division and will not be able to play the same banks that were already chosen by A. See A finals above for the order in which B groups choose. No IFPA restrictions to play in B division. If you are top 100, you are excluded from any winnings except for a trophy/plaque. No money or other prizes will be awarded to a top 100 player in B division. If they choose to not play in B, they will be listed as finishing the tournament tied for last in B div, then players will be called up from below B in order they qualified to replace any players that elect to not play in B finals.

Payouts will be to the top 4 players from A and top 4 players from B. After a $500 show fee, IFPA fees, and trophy expenses, the payouts will be as follows:
