October 22, 2022 @ Business Open. Pre-registration will open on 9/22/2022.
It’s time to make up for the launch parties we never got to have!
An IFPA Sanctioned Event! This event will feature head to head play where the total number of games played will vary based upon participation, games chosen, and player skill.
$5 per player. 100% of entry fees will be paid back as prizes. The $1 IFPA endorsement fee will be covered by Drop Catch Gaming. Additional prizes will be available, awarded at random.
Format: Flipper Frenzy
Players will be placed into either a head-to-head match or the queue.
MatchPlay.events will be used to determine matches.
At the conclusion of each match, results will be reported to the tournament director.
For following games, Player 1 will become Player 2 in their next game. Player 2 will move to the queue. The player at the top of the queue will become Player 1 in a new match.
Qualifiers for finals will be determined based on the best win/loss differential.
The top 4 qualifiers will advance to a ladder-style finals format.
The top 4 qualifiers with ratings of 2501+ in the IFPA World Rankings will qualify for the Novice Finals.
The qualifying portion will last 1 hr and 45 minutes.
The payout structure is as follows:
1st: 50% of total entry fees
2nd: 30% of total entry fees
3rd: 20% of total entry fees
