KCPC Matchplay

Players are grouped into groups of 4 (potentially 3 if there’s an odd number of players) and are awarded 3/2/1/0 (3/1.5/0 in 3 player groups) based on placement of 1st/2nd/3rd/4th (1st/2nd/3rd). 3 games are played (1 Modern LCD/DMD, 1 DMD/AlphaNumeric, 1 SS/EM) each round.

Round Schedule:
11:30-1 round 1
1-2:30 round 2
2:30-4 round 3
4-5:30 round 4
5:30-6:30 Break
6:30-8 round 5
8-9:30 round 6

Matchplay setup will be tiered Swiss, Slaughter grouping for first round, IFPA ranking for starting position

Finals Sunday 10am

Top 16 move on to an A finals
Next 16 to B finals

Both A and B Finals is match-play format with the following first round grouping:
1-8-9-16
2-7-10-15
3-6-11-14
4-5-12-13

Top seed gets the choice of game bank. Bank can be only chosen once by a player for the entire finals. Multiple teams can choose the same bank. Top two players each round move on. Pay out to top 8 in both divisions. Tie breakers will be played out on a single 3 ball game of TDs choice.
