Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 17, 2022
This matchplay pinball tournament usually occurs on the first Sunday of each month. The usual start time is 2pm and the usual end time is between 6:30pm and 7pm. Qualifying and finals will both use 4-player (or 3-player) matchplay games involving direct competition. All ages are welcome. Visit the tournament event web page for the most up-to-date information.
The tournament will be run on matchplay Dot events.

The entry fee is $5. All entry fees will be paid out as prizes to the top 4 finishers. IFPA player fees will be paid by the venue.
Each player will play five to eight multiplayer games (3 or 4 players) during the qualifying rounds.
As many as 16 players will advance to the semi-finals. Semi-finals will consist of groups of four players playing 4-player matchplay games on four machines.
The top 4 will advance to the finals. Finals will consist of a single group of four players playing 4-player games on four machines.
With 32 or more players, 16 will advance to the finals. With 16 - 31 players, 8 will advance. With 8 - 15 players, 4 will advance.
With 16 players in the semi-finals, there will be four groups of 4 players. The winner of each group of four will advance to the finals.
With 8 players in the semi-finals, there will be two groups of 4 players. The top two players from each group will advance to the finals.
With 8 - 15 players in the tournament, only 4 will advance. In this case semi-finals will be skipped and we will proceed directly to the finals.
Ties will be broken by the number of first and second places for each tied player. Any remaining ties will be broken by single ball tiebreaker matches.
