MGC Pinball Championship 2022

The tournament will consist of two qualifying sessions and finals, all to take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022. This tournament is open to 64 players. Pre- registration opens on Saturday, April 2, 2022 on the MGC website.

32 Player limit for each qualifying session, top 12 of each session make finals.
Each player can only play in one of the qualifying sessions, not both.

Qualifying style:

5 rounds of Match Play per session.
3 to 4 players each group based on number of players.
Swiss Style Seeding. Random to start.

Finals style:

5 Strike Fair Strikes as follows:
0 strikes for 1st, 1 strike for 2nd/3rd and 2 strikes for 4th.

Tiebreakers will be a single game. Extra balls will be plunged.

$25 entry fee. You must purchase your MGC pass in addition to this tournament fee.

90% payout as 10% will be used to cover IFPA fees & expenses.

Payouts / Trophies:

1st place – 45% 2nd place – 20% 3rd place – 15% 4th place – 10%

Qualifying Session 1

32 player limit. Top 12 make finals. Check in Saturday at 9:00 AM.
Session 1 Saturday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM (approx. 2 hours) Top 12 move on to finals.

Qualifying Session 2

32 player limit. Top 12 make finals. Check in Saturday at Noon.
Session 2 Saturday 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (approx. 2 hours) Top 12 move on to finals.

Finals:

24 players (top 12 of session 1 and 2 combined) Finals check in is Saturday at 3 PM.

Finals start at 3:30 PM and should approximately 8:00 PM.

Format is 5 Strikes Fair Strikes as follows:

0 strikes for 1st, 1 strike for 2nd/3rd and 2 strikes for 4th.
