Belles and chimes is a women's pinball league based in Oakland, Ca. We are part of the international belles and chimes network of women's pinball leagues, founded right here in Oakland in 2013. We are always excited for new members and welcome players of all skill level. you can join at any point during the season- all you have to do is show up any night. All meeting are on Monday evening at 730pm to around 2 hours.
we play 5 games each league night in groups of 3 or 4 people wit 7-5-3-1scoring for 1st-2nd-3rd-4th place finishes on each machine (7-4-1 for 3-player groups)
Matchplay setting will be balanced for arenas and balanced for player pairing, meaning that we switch up the groups for each round.
The league season runs for a total of 10 weeks, and for final ranking placement, your top 5 league night finishes will count towards the final standings.
We alternate locations between Outer orbit in San Francisco and Emporium in Oakland to accommodate women from a wide area and sample a variety of the finest pinball machines! All players are welcome to all league nights.
Outer orbit SF dates: March 14th, March 28th,April 11th,April 25th, May 9th.
Emporium Oakland dates: March 21st, April 4th, April 18th, May 2nd, May16th!
Belles and chimes is exclusively open to women and those who identify as women. Note that the Emporium Oakland location where we play 21+. Minors are welcome to the Outer orbit location. Belles and chimes Oakland is free to play during the season.
No league dues!
Players are only responsible for the cost of games played (25c to $1 game)
