Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 26, 2022
The Local is a new pinball location in town and they are hosting a Grand Opening 3-Strikes Tournament on February 26 @ 1pm. The Local is a modern arcade with a dedicated pinball section. At the date of the tournament a total of 15 games are anticipated, including the latest Stern release, RUSH. The tournament is free of charge with prizes supplied by our generous hosts. Pinball machines will be set on free play for the duration of the tournament. This is an all-skill level tournament and all fun-loving pinball players are invited.
The format will be 3-strikes with groups of 4. The bottom 2 players of each match will receive strikes. In the event of the need for a 3-player group, only bottom player will receive a strike. Initial pairing will be random with Swiss pairing in subsequent rounds. Player order and arena draws will be managed by Matchplay.events using “balanced” settings.
