Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: January 30, 2022
It's a new year, so scrape the remains of 2021 off of your shoes and start things out right with some pinball!
This is planned to be a group match play tournament, although format is subject to change based on attendance.
Tournament will consist of 8 rounds. All players will play in all rounds in groups of 3 or 4 on randomly selected machines. Players will receive points each round depending on where they finish. (7 points for 1st place, 5 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, and 1 point for 4th. Groups of 3 scoring will be 7/4/1.) The player with the most points after 8 rounds will win. Tiebreaks will be decided on a single final game chosen at random, with cash prizes awarded.
To register in advance, please send your entry fee to roanokepinballleague@gmail.com, via Paypal, Zelle, CashApp or Venmo. (Be sure to select “Friends and Family” if using Paypal, and please identify the tournament you are registering for and who will be participating.) If paying in person on the day, cash or one the above payment methods will be required. We cannot process credit cards for this tournament.
Cost is $15 to enter, or $10 for current VIP supporters of the Roanoke Pinball Museum.
Doors open for practice play at 6:00 PM. Masks may be required based on CDC and building guidelines.
