TPL meets on the first Saturday of the month (pending holiday conflicts) and each session covers a 6 month period. The monthly format is players will play a set of 8 machines and everyone plays one time for score. At the end of the 6th event of the session, there will then be an IFPA playoff. The IFPA playoff is the top 4 players from the combined session. The top 4 months within the session will count towards the standings for each player towards the IFPA playoff. Top place picks game or order, and the picks continue to 4th place player if needed. A game is played and bottom score is eliminated. A 3 player game is arranged in the same method, with the top score from the 4 player game getting first choice and moving down the line. Bottom score drops out. A 2 player game is arranged and that determines the winner.
