Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 04, 2021
Qualification by matchplay. All participants are divided into two or more groups. In every group players will play single or double 1v1 rounds against all other players in the group. At least seven qualification rounds will be played this way.
Based on rankings in the groups, players will end up in A-final group, B-final group and so on. In the A-final group the eight highest ranked players will play in the semi final and then final round. The semi final is at least four rounds to determine two top players to move on to the final. In the final there will be the first player to get two victories that wins the tournament. Second to two wins will get the silver medal. If you end up last in a game twice you are eliminated from the semi final or final respectively. The losers of the semi finals will play for position 5-8 in the same way as the final.
B-finals and so on will be carried out in the same way as the finals to determine positions of the rest of the participants.
All games are 3-ball games on random determined machines. There will be at least 16 pinball machines in the competition.
Meaningful # of games played: at least seven 1v1 in the qualification round and at least two 4-player games in semi final and at least two 4-player games in the final to win the tourney. Since 4-player games are calculated as two there will be at least 7+4+4 = 15 meaningful games to win the tourney.
