Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: November 20, 2021
Cost: $5 per player, plus coin drop for each game played ($1 of entry fee goes towards IFPA fees, $4 goes to tournament purse with payouts to those who place 1st through 3rd).
Tournament qualifying is a duration of 2 hours. Match play rounds will be limited to the number of games that can be played by all groups within a 2 hour time limit. If a game can be started before the 2 hour time limit, it will be ran. IFPA Scoring will be used, with first place finish within a match receiving 7 points, second place: 5 points, third place: 3 points, fourth place 1 point. Players will accumulate points based upon finish for each match. At the end of the 2 hour qualifying, the top four players will play in a 6 game matchplay set, spanning across the location's full machine lineup. Ties will be broken with matchplay software, utilizing fewest 4th and 3rd place finishes (Ties will be broken by fewest number of fourth place finishes, then by fewest number of third place finishes.) Extra balls can be plunged with skillshots in mind, but flips are prohibited and any extra balls must be drained. Playing of another individual's ball or playing out of turn immediately results in that player receiving 4th place for the round.
