Season 4 of the Free Play Pinball league kicks off the week of October 5th.
Players can play at EITHER NOT Both location: Tuesday - Richardson or Thursday - Arlington. Start time is 7:30.
There is a possibility a 3rd location (Denton) will be included, but only if by week 3 (with make up dates for weeks 1 & 2 available), and known / publicized (via the FB group) prior to week 1.
Play is 8 weeks of Match Play, players will be placed into groups of 3 or 4, using a point system of 2/5/10, or 2/4/6/10.
Players will be placed into divisions after week 5, using the best 3 out of 5 weeks. Players must play 3 out of the first 5 weeks.
New players can not join after week 3, and will have to wait until the next season to participate.
Weeks 1-5 players will be placed into groups using balanced - across the series, to help with playing different players weekly.
Weeks 6-8 player group will be based upon Swiss Style grouping to help ensure players are playing individuals in their divisions / close in ranking.
New for season 4, games will be assigned (using a balanced setting to ensure playing different games where possible across the series).
*** NOTE THE LEAGUE IS TAKING OFF THANKSGIVING WEEK ***
Finals will be at Free Play Arlington on Thursday December 9th.
Finals will be a fast ladder match play. Roughly top 1/3 - 1/2 of divisions will be eligible for finals. Final league standings are dependent upon playing in finals.
