Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 20, 2020
Cost: $15
There will be 5~7 machines available.
Tournament will be split up into 3 stages.
Stage 1 - BEST GAME:
Everyone plays 1 game on each machine. Best game format. INDISC scoring.
Lodge scores anytime from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Top 12 players progress to finals if there are at least 24 players. 8 if there are less.
If there are any ties, count back will be used (highest ranking on any game or 2nd highest if both top scores are the same).
Stage 2 - FAIR STRIKES: (9pm to 10pm).
5 x Fair Strike finals with modified strikes. Swiss pairings.
Top seed gets to choose 3 games for Stage 2.
Starting strikes:
Players 1~2: 0
Players 3~4: 1
Players 5~8: 2
Players 9~12: 3
If there are 8 players - 6 strikes instead of 5 if running on time.
Players 1~2: 0
Players 3~4: 1
Players 5~6: 2
Players 7~8: 3
Once the field is down to 4 players the 2nd stage will stop. If there is a tie for the 4th spot the ranking in Stage 1 will be used as a tie breaker.
Stage 3 - MATCHPLAY: (10pm to 11pm).
The top 4 will play 4 player games on 4 or 5 machines in multigame format (concurrent games) depending on time.
Machines chosen by player with the least strikes.
Countback to Stage 1 used if there is a draw.
Scoring will be 4,2,1,0.
