Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: February 29, 2020

Flip Frenzy at Industry

Doors Open at 1, Frenzy Begins at 2:30!

Entry fee is $5.

Flipper Frenzy is a timed event, this will be a 3 hour event from 2:30pm-5:30pm. When the 3 hour clock expires all games currently in progress will finish and no new games will be started. Players may join at any time until the 3pm cut off time.

The top 4 players who have the best win/loss differential will advance to a 4 game multiplay, matchplay final. Ties will be broken on number of wins, if there is a further tie, a tie-break game will be played to determine finalists.

Flipper Frenzy format is simple. Matchplay will assign Player 1 and Player 2 in head to head games on random machines. As results are entered, Player 1 will become Player 2 for the next game with the next player in the queue. Player 2 will go to the back of the queue and wait for their next game.

No show players, or players who have not reported to their game will be given a loss and moved to the back of the queue.

Finals will be the top 4 players playing a 4 game multiplay. Top seed will choose a bank of 4 adjacent games. All games will be played at the same time, with the top seed being player 1 on game 1, player 2 on game 2, player 3 on game 3 and player 4 on game 4. After each ball is finished, players will rotate to the right and play the next ball.

Games will not be on freeplay, so please bring your quarters, a change machine is available for your convenience.

This event is sanctioned by the IFPA.
