Join us for another year of Pizza & Pinball at Empire, now an official Stern Army location. This is an IFPA registered tournament - each participant will receive points toward their worldwide ranking. Beginning in 2020, anyone who places top 3 in any QLD IFPA event (must also have played in at least 8 tournaments in 2020) will receive an invitation to the Queensland Championships, held in 2021... last but not least WE ARE GIVING AWAY A PINBALL MACHINE - yes, you heard right - each time you enter an Empire Townsville or Mackay Pinball Tournament you'll receive one entry, drawn December 2020 - T&C's apply.

Deets:
- 3rd Monday of each month
- $20 Entry includes unlimited pinball until end of event + Pizza
- 5:45pm doors for a 6:30pm kick off
- 8 Fair Strikes Format (more details at the bottom)

- 1st will get their name engraved into our 2020 Holy Grail Plaque

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
The format will be group knockout using a "Fair strike" match-play 8 strikes format..
Players will play in groups of 3 or 4 people per machine.
In a four-player game, first place will get 0 strikes, second place will get 1 strike, third place will get 1 strike, and fourth place will get 2 strikes (0/1/1/2).
In a three-player game, first place will get 0 strikes, second place will get 1 strike, third place will get 2 strikes (0/1/2).
8 strikes and you are eliminated from the tournament.
The tournament will continue until there is only one player remaining.
