Reno Pinball League meets for 8 weeks to qualify at Press Start weekly Tuesday nights from 6:00-9:00 PM from September 17 thru November 5. Practice starts at 6:00 PM and league competition starts at 7:00. Pinburgh style scoring will be during qualifying in the 8 weeks. People will play in 4-person groups on 4 machines from different eras. A person who has the highest score on one game will receive the following points.

1st place - 3 points
2nd place - 2 points
3rd place - 1 point
4th place - 0 points

If there are 3-player groups the scoring is as follows:

1st place - 3 points
2nd place - 1.5 points
3rd place - 0 points

The points are totaled at end of qualifying and determine the top 16 players based on ranking. If more players register for league the estimated players for finals may change.

The finals take place on November 9 and will be a double elimination bracket head-to-head. Best of 3 games for each round. Highest seed picks machine. People who lose will drop to the losers bracket and compete for 1st place to earn a spot in the final round to compete against the 1st place winner of the winners bracket. Winners continue in the winners bracket until players are determined for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to earn trophies.
