TOURNAMENT FORMAT DETAILS:

Players are allowed unlimited qualifying attempts during the qualification period. BUT, only your highest score on each machine is used to determine rankings.

The machines are Wizard of Oz, Ghostbusters, Game of Thrones, Star Trek (or others as introduced by Craft), and will be pay for play during qualification.

Don’t forget to have one of the friendly Craft staff verify your score.

At the end of the Qualifying period, scores on each machine are ranked in a “Grand Prix” style (eg 1st=25pts; 2nd=18pts; 3rd=15; 4th=12; 5th=10; 6th=8; 7th=6; 8th=4; 9th=2; 10th=1). The eight highest total scoring players across the four machines advance to the finals.

If there is a tie for any qualifying position, a single game playoff will determine final qualifying positions. This game will be on the day of the finals. Machine choice and play order will be randomised within MatchPlay software.

NB: No more than 50% of the qualifying field may progress to finals. If there are fewer than 16 attempted qualifiers, finals will run in an alternate structure that meets IFPA regulations.

The Finals will be two semi-finals of 4 players as follows:
Semi-final 1: 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th ranked
Semi-final 2: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th ranked
These finals are one 4 player game on each of the 4 machines, scored as 1st: 7 points, 2nd: 5 points, 3rd: 3 points, 4th: 1 point.

The top four semi-final point scorers progress to grand final. And 5 - 8 progress to minor placing playoff.

In the event of tied playoff total, a one game playoff will be the tie-breaker, with:
- Machine choice: higher ranking qualifier
- Play order: next highest ranking qualifier

Grand Final will be 4 player games to be played on all 4 machines (points as per the semi final) to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place.

5th to 8th play one single machine chosen by the highest ranked player in this group.
