Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: September 14, 2019
In an effort to bring attention to Chicago's Pinball Expo, we're giving away weekend passes to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers! This includes a tour of the Stern Pinball factory! Plus, to sweeten the pot, the winner of the tournament will receive a guaranteed $250 in prize money towards travel expenses!
How it works: $20 Entry fee goes towards cash prizes, trophies and IFPA sanctioning fees.
Using matchplay.events, players will be paired against an opponent and play a head to head match on a randomly picked game. After the game is over, report the results back and three things will happen.
Player 1 in the just-finished game will be put into a queue
Player 2 will become Player 1 on a new game
A player will be pulled from the top of the queue will become the new Player 2
Win/loss record determines standings
After 2 hours, standings will be locked in, and a top percentage of the players will go into a best of 3 head-to-head single elimination format.
Cash prizes will be paid out to top finishers based on attendance, with trophies for the top 3 along with the sweet sweet expo pass!
