Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: August 24, 2019
Tournament Details: This will be an IFPA sanctioned event. Entry into the tournament will earn you World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points. If this is your first tournament you will receive a unique player number and be placed into the rankings of over 70,000+ players world-wide.
Date: Saturday, August 24, 2019. Qualifying begins at 3:00pm and will end at 7:00pm. A player can put up qualifying scores anytime during that period. In other words, you don’t have to be there right at the start, although that will allow the player more time to qualify. Playoffs will begin shortly after qualifying times end.
Fee: One time $6 entry plus normal coin drop ($1 from the fee goes to the IFPA the rest gets paid out to the players.)
Format: Best game unlimited qualifying on 6 machines. However, only the best scores on the top 4 machines count toward your final score. Play the machines as much as time allows during the qualifying period. Again, only the players’ best score counts. When qualifying is over, the top 8 or half (whichever is less) will make it into the A-division finals. The next 4 players not ranked in the top 1000 WPPR are placed into the B-division and if more than 16 players... the next 4 will be placed into the C-Division. All Divisions will be eligible for Trophies and Cash prizes!!
Finals: One 4-player game on Willy Wonka. Top two scores advance. When four players remain, final scores will determine placement. B and C Division will simply be one game match. Final scores will determine placement.
Games (subject to change): Willy Wonka (Standard Edition), The Walking Dead (Pro model), Munsters (Pro model), Night Rider (SS), Black Jack (SS), and Black Knight: Sword of Rage (Pro Model)
Prizes: Cash, Trophies, and random prizes will be given away during the tournament such as custom mugs, t-shirts, key chains, pinball translites, etc.!!
A-Division:
1st Place- 36% of entry pool + A Division Trophy
2nd Place- 21% of entry pool
B-Division:
1st Place - 18% of entry pool + B Division Trophy
2nd Place - 12% of entry pool
C-Division:
1st Place - 8% of entry pool + C Division Trophy
2nd Place - 5% of entry pool
NOTE: Participating in this tournament/launch party will get you an entry towards winning up to $400 in CASH, that we will be giving away (at random) at the end of the year during our Holiday Extravaganza event in December 2019. (You do NOT have to be present at the Holiday Extravaganza event to win the cash prizes!)
