Galloping Ghost Pinball in Brookfield, IL is hosting the second Flip Frenzy Event of the Summer of 2019
.
When: Sunday, July 28th, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Finals starting at 8:00pm until finish
Flip Frenzy Tournament Registration will begin at 5:30pm
Where: Galloping Ghost Pinball - 9213 Ogden Avenue - Brookfield, IL 60513, USA
What: Head to Head Flip Frenzy style competition for IFPA points and prizes
Who: Ken Walker, Andy Bagwell and Eric Bonjour, Tournament Directors
Costs: $15.00 entry to Galloping Ghost Pinball (no coin drops) - Sunday Hours are 11:00am to 11:00pm
$5.00 buy-in for the Flip Frenzy ($1.00 goes to IFPA & $4.00 goes into the prize pool).

Specifics: Galloping Ghost Pinball, is a pinball location in the Western Chicago suburb of Brookfield (near the Brookfield Zoo!) with 30+ machines on freeplay, so tokens/dollars/quarters are not needed. Save your receipt and you may come and go as you please. There are very good eating establishments around, so ask the staff for food advice. Drinks are also sold on site. This means, that you are not restricted to show up for just the tournament, but may arrive any time after the 11:00am opening, and stay after the tournament until close at 11:00pm.

For the Flip Frenzy, you will pay an additional $5.00 for the tournament. $1.00 goes to IFPA (http://www.ifpapinball.com) and $4.00 goes into the prize pool

Flip Frenzy is a 2 hour long competition where players are randomly selected to play each other in a two player, head to head game on a randomly selected pinball machine. The tournament will use the Match Play software, which handles the pairings and game selections. Once the 2 hour period is up, the tournament shall be over and the top 4 players (if under 24 players) or top 8 (if 24 players and over) will advance to the finals after all top 4 or top 8 tie breakers (if any) are resolved. More Specifics unrelated to the tournament: Brookfield, IL is also home to the World's Largest Video Game Arcade: The Galloping Ghost Arcade - located 900 feet West of Pinball. You may upgrade your entry to also visit the Arcade for $30.00 total (a $5.00 savings for both locations!) The arcade hours are: 11:00am to 2:00am - 15 hours of gaming. Again, save your receipt and you may come and go as you wish during the 15 hours the arcade is open.
