Who can play: Everyone is welcome to play! BUT, and this is a big but, if you are already a registered player for Pinburgh you are not eligible to win the Pinburgh Entry. Any registered player who wins can keep the gift certificate, but the Pinburgh prize will default to the next eligible highest finishing player in that division.
Tournament Details:
Day 1: Division Qualifying
- 5 rounds of matchplay
- 4 player groups
- each round will consist of 3 machines drawn at random
- groups for A & B divisions will be established at the end of day 1
- Top 16 make A division, next eligible 16 make B division
Day 2: Division Playoffs and Finals
Playoffs:
- 3 rounds of matchplay building on the scores from the previous day
- each round will consist of 3 machines drawn at random
- at the end of 3 rounds, top 8 will in each division move on to the semi-finals
Semi Finals & Finals: Both the Semi Finals and Finals rounds will be standard PAPA style final formats.
