Format:
Best Game format, a popular qualifying format for pinball tournaments. The tournament will have a bank of 14 designated machines. Each competitor may play each pinball machine as many times as desired during the qualifying period. Only a player’s single highest score on each machine will be counted. Player’s best scores on 7 different machines will be counted as a complete entry. Their 7 best games will be compared to everyone else's 7 best games and awarded points accordingly. Players will need to play a minimum of 7 out of the 14 pinball machines to be awarded a score.
We will also be using the It Never Drains Software for this circuit event which will also allow for queing of games for participants.
The rank of the player’s result on each machine will contribute points to their overall entry as follows:
1st place- 100 points
2nd place- 97 points
3rd place- 95 points
4th place- 94 points
5th place- 93 points
6th place- 92 points
All the way down
(Best Possible Score = 700 points, for highest score on 7 different machines)
If there is a tiebreaker for a position but not 24th or 40th place tiebreaker which will be a one game playoff . We will randomly pick from the 14 machines and the higher score on that machine will be the tiebreaker for position.
