Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: April 29, 2019
-Registration starts at 6pm, Tournament starts at 7pm.
-5 rounds of 7/5/3/1 scoring in groups of 4 (or 3).
-Opponents: Balanced … Game selection: Balanced … Player order: Random.
-8-11 players: 4 players qualify for playoffs, 12-15 players: 6 players qualify, 16 plus players: 8 qualify
-Many ties will be broken by number of 1sts and 2nds through Match play software(including playoffs). If a tie still exists for 1st(seeding for playoffs and game choice)/2nd or 8th( last playoff spot), a one-ball tie-breaker on a random machine will be played. All other ties ( 3rd-7th ), will be broken via random number generator to determine round 1 seeding.
-If a player leaves prior to/or during playoffs, no one will replace that player. The same number of players will still advance during playoff rounds. i.e: if a player leaves causing a 4-player group to become a 3-player group, 2 players would still advance to next round.
-Playoffs and finals scoring is 7/5/3/1 with the highest seed selecting the machine/or position for all 3 games in a set. Position is then picked by next highest seeds in descending order.
-The playoffs runs 2 rounds of 3 games. Seeds 1/4/5/8 play in a group. Seeds 2/3/6/7 play in the other. If player numbers (12-15) dictate that 6 players make playoffs; round robin seeds 1 and 2 will have a bye to finals, and seeds 3/4/5/6 will play with seed 3 picking game selection for round 1.
-A high seed with game selection 2 rounds in a row, must pick at least 2 new games for the finals. It will only be possible to repeat 1 of 3 machine selections from the previous round.
