Finals Format

Overall

$10.00 buy in. 100% payout to finalists with a $750 pot splash!

Sign-ups start at 3PM. Tournament starts at 4PM.

Group Matchplay qualifying rounds using 4-2-1-0 scoring. One 4 player game played per round. Random seeding, "balanced" player and machine picks using matchplay.events. Expected 5-6 rounds of qualifying. Final number of rounds will be determined based on time cutoff (3.5 hours).

Top 12 will make it to finals with top 4 seeds earning a bye for first round. If less than 24 players, # of finalists will be determined by turnout (less than/equal to 1/2 of total players). Groups will be seeded based on qualifying performance (e.g. 5th seed playsFinals will be PAPA style, with two 4 player games played by a group per round. 4-2-1-0 scoring. Groups will be cut in half each round until final match.

Expected WPPR base value of 22 with close to 100% TGP (If you aren't a WPPR nerd, it means many IFPA points will be up for grabs)
