Tournament Overview

Start Date: March 01, 2019
End Date: March 31, 2019

This is a month-long pinball tournament, with unlimited entries. Players can go to the tournament website to register for an account:

https://matchplay.live/0e0r5

Once registered, players may use the website to submit "selfies" of their best scores on 5 out of 6 selected machines:

The Munsters
Star Wars
Spider-Man
Batman '66
Game of Thrones
Dialed In
Selfies may be uploaded at any time during the month of March. Selfies must show the score clearly, but do NOT have to include the player's face.

Players will be awarded points for their scoring: 100 points for the best score on each machine, 90 points for 2nd, 85 points for 3rd, 84 for 4th, 83 for 5th, etc. Players will then be ranked based on total number of points they earn across all 5 games. If you don’t submit a score for a particular game, you get 0 points for that game.

Current standings will be updated on the tournament website throughout the month. At the end of the month, all players who submit at least 3 qualifying scores will be invited to play in the February Finals, which will take place on Wednesday, April 3, from 7-10 PM.

Finals format: Players will be placed in a 4-play group. Highest seeded players in qualifying rounds will be paired with lowest seeded players. Highest seeded players in each group will choose the machine their group will play on.

In a four-player game, the players with the lowest and next to lowest score (3rd and 4th place) will receive a "strike." In a three-player game, the player with the lowest score (3rd place) will receive a strike. Three strikes and you are eliminated from the tournament. The tournament will resume until there is only one player without three strikes!

Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 players in each division. This event is sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association, and all participants who pay the (optional) $1 rating fee will be awarded World Pinball Player Ranking points!
