Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 26, 2019
Once again i will be hosting a charity event to raise funds to send a kid to camp thru our Tim Hortons Children's Foundation!! A once in a life time event for an underprivliged boy/girl to experience a week at camp making new friends and skills from around North America.Last year we raised $400!!! I would love to top this for 2019!!
When: Sunday May 26th 2019
Where:56 Elizabeth st St Thomas Ontario
Time: Doors open @ 11am
Tournament start: High Noon!!
Cost: $25 per person
Your cost will include the IFPA $1
Soft Drinks, Munchies and Hot food
ALL pinball competitors will receive a camp day T-Shirt (when signing up please include shirt size)
Prizes courtesy of Tim Hortons and Winner will receive a tax receipt and a cool LED PINBALL TROPHY!!!
Format for the event will be as follows
Play 10 rounds of 4 (or 3) player randomly picked groups from the Match Play software. 7-5-3-1 scoring (7-4-1 for 3 player groups). Each round, a different group is picked. After 10 rounds, top 50% (up to max of 12 players) make playoffs. Ties in scores determined by software based on 1st and 2nd place finishes in group play.
Playoffs are brackets, best 2 of 3 games, higher seed picks order or game in 1st & 3rd match, lower seed picks order or game in 2nd match. Person cannot select same game more than once in playoffs. top 4 get a bye to next round. Next 8 will playoff in the preliminary bracket, winners will play the top 4 highest seed vs the lowest seeded moving on from the preliminary round if seed 12 wins their match they will play seed 1 in the next round.
