Top 12 players from 8-Bit Arcade's weekly knockouts and monthly matchplay tourneys will compete for the player of the month. Points will be assigned based on placement in these tourneys: 100 for 1st, 99 for 2nd, etc. There are four chances to qualify, three weeklies and the monthly.

Top 12 point totals at the end of the month will qualify for Player of the Month (PotM) Tourney. If someone is not able to attend, the next player in the list will be notified. Tie breaker, if necessary, will be based on most 1st place win then most 2nd place, etc. If still tied, it will be randomly drawn.

PotM format: Top 4 players will have a bye round one, remaining 8 players will play single elimination, best 3/5 games to avoid elimnation. Round one winners will play top four players in Round two, same format (best 3/5, single elimination.) Found three will be four players left, same format. Final round (four) will be two remaining players battling (best 3/5, single elim) for the top spot, 8-Bit's PotM.

$5 Entry for each player with a Pot Splash of $100 from the 8-Bit Arcade. Payout to top 4 players.
1st place player will also will also have their photo next to our in house Player of the Month Trophy for the duration of the month until the next finals!!!
