New Haven Pinball League (NHVPL)
Come join New Haven’s first pinball league, Tuesdays at 7:30pm at Barcade New Haven. The league is capped at 24 players (first come first served) and runs for six weeks from Jan 22nd to Feb 26th. Finals for the top 8 players will be held on March 5th. Best four weeks count toward finals seeding. You must play at least three weeks to be eligible to win the league and end of league prizes.
WHO: Up to 24 players of any ability level
WHAT: 6-week league. Best 4 weeks count toward end of season tournament seeding, playing 4 games per week in a group of 3 or 4 players
WHEN: Tuesdays at 7:30 pm from January 22nd through February 26th, with finals on the following Tuesday (March 5th). Check in by 7:15pm.
WHERE: Barcade New Haven
COST: $5 league entry (covers IFPA fee and cash prizes/trophies for top 3) plus cost of tokens each week
DETAILS:
• Players will be split randomly every week into groups of four, or three if there is not an even number. Each player will get to choose a game to play and all four players will play together on each game.
• Players are awarded points for which place they finish on each game as follows:
o 4 Player Group: 1st place = 7 pts, 2nd = 5 pts, 3rd = 3 pts, 1st = 1 pts
o 3 Player Group: 1st place = 7 pts, 2nd = 4 pts, 3rd = 1 pts
• Top 8 at the end of the 6 weeks will qualify for finals on March 5th based on top four weekly scores. Finals will be two rounds of group match play. Top two from each group advance to top 4.
• Missing weeks will register as zeros. Your two lowest weekly scores will be dropped.
