Tournament Overview


Tournament Date: January 12, 2019

Start time available on web site.

$10 Entry Fee for all players + coin drop or free play if at a free play venue.
Entry fees will be used to purchase prizes, trophies, expenses, and as required for the IFPA or venue used.

Trophies
There will be a monthly trophy for first place, an annual Grand Champion Trophy, and prizes awarded to the top 3 places. Prizes will be semi-random items available at the time of the tournament.

Prizes
Prizes will be presented to the winner, followed by second place, third place, and fourth place, in order, from the pool of available prizes.
In the event of a tie, the players that are tied will have a one game tie-breaker on a random game. The highest score wins.
Prizes for the winners will be chosen from those in the charity raffle.


QUALIFYING
- 8 rounds of match play
- Players will be put into groups of 4 (or 3 when necessary) and play one game per round
- Scoring on each game is 7/5/3/1 or 7/4/1

QUALIFIERS
24 - 31 players – Top 12 qualify (top 4 receive byes)
32 - 47 players – Top 16 qualify (top 4 receive byes)
48 - 64 players – Top 24 qualify (top 8 receive byes)

PLAYOFFS
- Groups of 4 will compete in Pinburgh style match play
- Each round will contain 3 games
- Scoring will be 5/3/2/1
- Top two from each group will advance to the next round
