Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 29, 2018
Monday October 29th will by the third Round 1 tourney. .
Giving out: TWO translites (haven't decided which yet...any requests?), along with the pool $ for the top 3. Higher placed has choice of one of these prizes. I will also give out those Stern dog-tags that will allow you to play in Stern Special events.
Winner will have his/her picture taken at one of the Purikura booths with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th finishers decorating it, and posted on a winners billboard of some sorts (still working on that). Before the picture is taken, the winner will need to play a 'Boss Fight' (against me)...if you win you will show your happy face in the picture, if you lose you will need to show your sad face.
Games will be set to 50cents.
Check in starts at 7pm, tourney at 730pm.
Games (all modern Stern): Star Trek, Metallica, Kiss, Mustang, Walking Dead, WWE.
Games should be updated and working, but other than a catastrophic failure (continuous annoying ball searches), play on! I've learned a lot about dead bounces on machines with a dead flipper. Adapt and change your play strategy!
Just to reiterate, coaching and smack talk (good natured) WILL be allowed even while playing, as long as you don't piss off the player. Let's make this a fun, casual (with IFPA points) and, yes, educational tourney (let's learn everything about these games!). I will direct and NOT participate, but more than willing to coach anyone (if you trust my sometimes spotty knowledge of the rules :P).
