Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 13, 2018
We have a new location and we are going to kick things off with a bang on Saturday October 13th 2018 at Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club at 940 Vimy Road for our first Knockout tournament. And it’s going to be a 5 STRIKE TOURNAMENT! Things will get going at 3pm and go until 10pm and there will be lots of food and drinks available for everyone’s enjoyment. As always players will be grouped up into pairs of 4 where available or 3 if not. If you are in a group of 4 the 1st place and 2nd place player don’t get a strike and the 3rd and 4th players do. In a group of 3 only the 3rd place player will receive a strike. Once you have 5 strikes you’re out. Simple as that, and we play until there is only one player standing as the winner. Also if necessary there will be a match played to determine 3rd place as well. This is a $7 event with prizes for the top 3 finishers. Anyone who wishes to play is welcome.
