Qualifying method one:
Earn a spot on the high score table. High score entry will be set to 10 letters to facilitate name entry. Players may make unlimited qualifying attempts starting from when the machine arrives and has been set up for tournament play(signs will be posted) until the beginning of the Launch Tournament. Players who achieve a top 4 spot on the high score table prior to the beginning of the launch tournament at 1pm on Sunday will be eligible for a position in the finals provided at least 16 players participate in the Launch Tournament. If fewer than 16 participate in the launch tournament, the number of players taken from the early qualifying period will be adjusted as necessary to ensure that no more than half of the field advance to the final. If a player(s) earns more than one spot on the high score table, the next unique player will claim that spot. Early qualifiers must be present for the Launch Tournament or their qualifying spot will be forfeited.

Qualifying method two:
Launch Tournament day qualifying consists of a 7-strike, progressive strike round which will continue until the total remaining players including any early qualifiers is equal to 8 or no more than half the field should fewer than 16 participate. At least 4 players from Launch Tournament day qualifying will advance to the final.

Finals:
The 8* qualifiers will compete in a group elimination bracket on Deadpool. Assuming 8 finalists, the semifinal will consist of 2 four-player games in which the top 2 players from each match will advance to the final. The remaining 4 players will play one four-player game to determine the champion.

Seeds will be in order of position at the completion of Launch Tournament day qualifying followed by the eligible early qualifiers in order of their qualifying scores.

Players not qualifying for the finals will be eligible to compete in a head-to-head 3-strike consolation tournament for another chance to earn some cool Stern swag!
