Qualifying 10 AM Saturday September 8th
Finals 2 PM Sunday September 9th
Capacity Up to 72 Players
Format - Match Play, 7,5,3,1 format
12 Games
Players will muster from 9:00 for a 10 AM start.
Players will be grouped in 4s and qualifying will be played as a series of 6 x 2 game
rounds sorted by match play software using the balanced draw system, but with the first
round being slaughter.
It is expected that we will comfortably complete 6 x 2 game rounds over the course of
the day with a short break for lunch. We will be using a balanced draw to help iron out
the downtime between rounds.
After all games are completed, the top 16 players will be advised of their finalist
positions - for play on Sunday at 2PM. Qualifying is expected to complete by 5PM.
A special prize will be awarded to the 17th place qualifier and last place qualifier at the
conclusion of qualifying.
The 18 highest scores on each game will also receive a prize.
Finals
Match Play, 4 Player
Round 1 - 16 players will face off in 4 groups of 4.
Round 1. Each group will play 3 separate games (not Iron Maiden).
The games will be chosen by match play software
Players will be grouped slaughter style based on their seeded qualifying position.
Players will be awarded 7,5,3,1 points based on their scores from each game.
After 3 games the 8 players with the most points will proceed to round 2
The highest seeded player in each group will choose the playing order.
In the event of a tie, a single 2 player game will be played on a game selected by the
Tournament Director as a ‘Tie Breaker’.
Round 2 - 8 players will face off in 2 groups of 4
Round 2 will consist of 3 separate games (not Iron Maiden)
Players will be grouped slaughter style by match play event software
Players will be awarded 7,5,3,1 points based on their scores from each game.
After 3 games the 8 players will be ranked in order to determine the 5th - 8th position.
The highest seeded player in each group will choose the playing order.
In the event of a tie, a single 2 player game will be played on a game selected by the
Tournament Director as a ‘Tie Breaker’.
The top 4 players proceed to the super shootout on Iron Maiden
Round 3 - “The AMD Maiden Event - Iron Maiden Shootout”
4 player x 3 games to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th position. All Three Games Are To
Be Played on AMD - Iron Maiden (Stern)

Prize money for 1st - 3rd is derived from 50% of all AMD - Maiden Event Entry Fees.
