Red River Replay IV
Pinball party + 2 pinball tournaments
Come enjoy the day hanging out visiting with friends and playing pinball.
Bring whatever drinks and snacks you want.
Our host, Chris (aka Nevus), plans to smoke a briskit, provide some snacks, and bottled water.
There is no kids specific tournament, but your kids are welcome to attend and/or compete. Unruly children will be given an espresso and a free puppy at departure. J/k.
Location: Private residence in NW Louisiana, Shreveport, LA area, s-e side of town, 10338 Evangeline Oaks Circle.
Contact Nevus or Pinball-is-great if any questions, or to let us know you are planning to attend.
Car-pooling encouraged to help out with limited available parking.
Guests/players can arrive between 11:30 am to 12:45 pm to sign up, practice, eat, and visit. Review tournament rules from 12:45 to 1 pm. Start Pingolf side tournament around 1 pm. Start main tournament after completion of initial 9-hole round of Pingolf tournament.
The sooner you get knocked out of the tournaments, the more time you will have to visit with others, eat, and watch sports on tv.
Both pinball tournaments will be registered with IFPA and players will earn IFPA points.
Types of machines will range from electro-mechanicals from the 1970's, solid-state electronic type from 80's/90's, and up through recent modern machines years 2013-2017.
Main Tournament:
Double Elimination bracketed format, with best-of-5 game matches on the winners side and best of 3 game matches on the losers side of the bracket. If less than 20 players entered, then we may decide to play best-of-7 game matches on the winners side of the bracket. Entry fee is $10 per player. Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places.
Entry fees are to help cover costs of trophies, IFPA fees, food, and misc hosting expenses.
Per IFPA TGP Guide, for Double Elimination type format, w/ 15 to 19 players, and best of 7 game matches on winners side of bracket, and best of 3 game matches on losers side, the calculated TGP is 24.
