Tournament Overview

Start Date: July 11, 2018
End Date: July 31, 2018

This is a month-long pinball tournament, with unlimited entries. Players can go to the tournament website to register for an account:
https://matchplay.live/87z9b

Once registered, players may use the website to submit "selfies" of their best scores on 5 out of 6 selected machines:

No Good Gophers, Aerosmith, The Who's Tommy, Theatre of Magic, Medieval Madness, The Addams Family

(game list subject to change)

Selfies may be uploaded at any time during the month of July. Selfies must show the score clearly, but do NOT have to include the player's face.

Players will be awarded points for their scoring: 100 points for the best score on each machine, 90 points for 2nd, 85 points for 3rd, 84 for 4th, 83 for 5th, etc. Players will then be ranked based on total number of points they earn across all 5 games. If you don’t submit a score for a particular game, you get 0 points for that game.

Current standings will be updated on the tournament website throughout the month. At the end of the month, the top 16 players will be invited to play in the July Finals, which will take place on Thursday, August 2nd, from 7:30-10 PM.

Finals format: Players who qualify in positions 1-8 will be placed in the "A" division. Players who qualify in positions 9-16 will be placed in the "B" division. Groups of 4 play a semifinal round across 3 different machines, accumulating 4 points for 1st place finish, 2 points for a 2nd place finish, 1 point for a 3rd place finish, and 0 points for a 4th place finish. Top 2 players in each group of 4 will advance to the final round of 4, conducted using the same 4-2-1-0 scoring system.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 players in each division. The winner in Division "A" will take home a brand new bicycle! This event is sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association, and all participants who pay the (optional) $1 rating fee will be awarded World Pinball Player Ranking points.
