Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: May 05, 2018

Qualifying will be 9 holes of pingolf using at least 3 DMDs, at least 3 SS, and 3 EMs (if available). A SS game will be used to break any ties. Top half after qualifying advances to H2H playoffs. There will be fixed and ordered banks of 4 machines for the playoffs. A DMD, SS, and EM will be placed in each bank as much as possible. The first 3 games in each bank will have a par score. On these three games, if only one of the two players makes the par score they get 1.0 points. If neither player makes par, the one with the higher score gets 1.0 points. If both players make par, they each get 0.5 points. First player to get a total of 2.0 points or greater advances. If the score is tied at 1.5 - 1.5 after the first 3 games, then and only then will the 4th game from the bank be used. There is no par for the 4th game and whoever wins advances to the next round.

Example: Player A was the top finisher in the pingolf and has picked Bank A which is GotG, Mystic, Air Aces, and Freedom.
Player A picks two of the games in the bank to go first on (let's say GotG, and Mystic). Player B will go first on the other two.
Both players make par on GotG so the score is 0.5 - 0.5. Only player B makes par on Mystic, so the score is 0.5 - 1.5. Neither player makes par on Air Aces, but player A had the higher score so the match is tied at is 1.5 - 1.5. A no par game of Freedom is played to determine who advances.
